LEVEL 2 AWARD IN HEALTH AND SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE: 1 Day

This course is aimed at all employees and is designed to raise their awareness of health and safety in the workplace.

The syllabus covers a wide range of subjects:

• Health and safety laws
• Roles and responsibilities for health and safety in the workplace
• Risk assessments
• Risk control hierarchy
• Procedures for responding to accidents and incidents in the workplace

Assessment is through a multiple-choice question paper at the end of the day. On successful completion the learner will receive a Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the workplace. It is recommended that this qualification is refreshed every 3 years.
