Aim of the course

 This qualification is for those who work in a Health and Social Care environment and who are looking to develop knowledge and understanding of working in end of life care.

What We Will Cover

 • Understand how to work in end of life care

• Understand how to support individuals during the last days of life

• Understand how to provide support when working in end of life care

Assessment

 To achieve this qualification via certification through the awarding body, iCQ; learners must achieve 10 credits.

iCQ qualifications are internally assessed, primarily through the creation of a portfolio of evidence. This portfolio demonstrates the learner's achievement of all learning outcomes and assessment criteria.

Evidence can include observation of performance, examination of products, questioning, professional discussion, reflective accounts, and witness testimony.
